A film about meals that look, smell and taste just like they should, but which are much easier to eat than regular food.

For people who have difficulty swallowing, the sensory and emotional pleasures of food can be relegated to memory, diminishing their quality of life. German company Biozoon has created Smoothfood, a way to convert different foods into easy-to-swallow but still appetising forms.

UK-based Helen McArdle Care Homes has partnered with Biozoon to create meals for its elderly residents that look, smell and taste just like they should, but which are much easier to eat.

Read our Mosaic story to find out how Smoothfood and other technologies are helping people who live with dysphagia (difficulty with swallowing) enjoy a more normal life.
