This clip shows an avatar used in the clinic’s treatment of schizophrenia.

Behind an abandoned shop along Brixton Road in south London is the Social, Hope and Recovery Project – the SHARP clinic. Run by the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, the clinic is pioneering a new therapeutic treatment – avatar therapy – that aims to help voice hearers manage their distressing voices.
