Kendall Powell

A cell biologist in her early years, Kendall Powell has been a science journalist for the last 13 years while secretly yearning to be a reproductive biologist. The closest she’s come has been writing features about pregnancy myths and elusive oocyte stem cells for places such as the Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post, NatureDiscover and other publications. She also chronicles the career joys and struggles of young scientists. She lives near Denver and enjoys eating s’mores under the stars with her husband, daughter and son.
