Emily Sohn is a freelance journalist who writes primarily about health, science and complex conservation questions. Her stories have appeared in the Washington Post, Nature, NPR, bioGraphic, Science News, Spectrum, the Guardian and many other publications. She has also written dozens of books and graphic novels for young people. She lives in Minneapolis with her husband, two sons and two cats. Her reporting trips have included paddling in the Peruvian Amazon, cycling in Turkey, scuba diving in Fiji and dining at the Nobel Prize ceremonies in Sweden.
